MY PROJECTS

Projects I’m learning from.

What I’m building, why I’m building it and the skills I’m practising along the way.

01 / SECURITY PRACTICE

The analyst’s desk

I’m building a practice environment that feels like a security shift. An assignment arrives as a simulated email or call, then I investigate the evidence and prepare a report.

What I’m learning: alert triage, evidence handling and clear handovers. My private range brings case files, a virtual terminal and guided assistance into one workspace.

02 / PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Hermes

Hermes is my personal assistant project. I’m connecting everyday planning with practical tools and building help into my SOC desk, including explanations, small hints and screen sharing when I choose to use it.

  • What I’m practising: connecting tools with useful context
  • Designing assistance that fits the task
  • Keeping personal services behind their existing access controls

03 / INFRASTRUCTURE

My home lab

My home lab gives me a practical place to learn networking, containers and private access. I’m getting to understand how my apps and services connect, and how to keep those boundaries clear.

What I’m learning: service configuration, HTTPS, Tailscale and maintaining a useful personal environment. My portal is a private launchpad for the services I already run.
